Privacy
CookConvert has no accounts, no sign-up and no database. All conversions, scaling and calorie maths run in your browser.
Saved on your device
To save you retyping, your browser’s local storage keeps: the last settings of the main converter, the recipe text and servings in the recipe scaler, and the ingredient list in the calorie calculator. This never leaves your device.
AI recipe rewrite
If you press “Rewrite” on the recipe scaler, the recipe text you pasted, the scale factor and your unit choice are sent to a language model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don’t store it. Don’t paste personal information into the recipe box.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and see which converters are useful. It doesn’t use cookies or build profiles of visitors.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
